frequently asked questions
01. How do i contact you?
SkyLight Photography primarily communicates with clients through email. Please keep an eye on your email inbox for important booking, session, and gallery information. To send me a message, you may use the "contact me" button at the bottom of any page on this website. The SkyLight Photography Facebook Page is also an option for communication, if needed!
02. how do I book a session?
To book a session, reach out to get the conversation started! A $50 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve all regular sessions, with the remaining balance due the day before your session. Please note that monthly mini sessions are paid in full at the time of booking. Accepted payment methods include cash or card.
03. Will you travel?
SkyLight Photography serves the Shawano and Waupaca County areas of Wisconsin. Locations outside of this service area are subject to an additional travel fee of $1 Per Total Round Trip Mile. Please ask if you are unsure - I'm happy to chat!
04. WHAT'S YOUR CANCELATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY?
Cancellations made before the day of your session will receive a refund of any balance paid beyond the non-refundable retainer. Day-of cancellations are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, your $50 retainer may be transferred to a new date up to three times. After three reschedules, all payments are forfeited. Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to unsafe or unsuitable weather conditions at the photographer's discretion.
05. when will I receive my images and online gallery?
SkyLight Photography's turnaround time can range anywhere from one to three weeks, depending on the time of the year. When estimating turnaround time, weekends and holidays are not counted. All images are professionally edited and delivered through a downloadable, online gallery. Please note that image counts are approximate, unedited images will not be provided, and clients are responsible for storing and printing their images.
06. what about pets?
All pets must have a collar and leash in public places, at all times. Clients will be responsible for managing pets during the session, ensuring they are safe and comfortable. Clients will also be responsible for pet cleanup. (Pro Tip: Bring your pet's favorite treats and toys to help grab their attention).
